Y-type basket strainer filter This product is designed to remove foreign matter from pipelines and provide protection for pumps, meters, valves, and other similar mechanical equipment, which is referred to as a strainer. Y-Type strainers are named for their shape and are typically used for coarse filtration. They are suitable for fluids such as water, air, gas, petroleum, steam, and others.

 
Basket strainer, designed to remove foreign matter from pipelines and provide protection for pumps, meters, valves and other similar mechanical equipment, is also known as a strainer. The basket strainer features top removal of the filter element, which takes the form of a basket with a lifting handle, making it easy to remove all particulate matter captured and retained by the filter element for disposal. The particulate matter is trapped in the strainer basket, and the process line is temporarily shut down to remove the basket for cleaning or replacement. Basket strainers are constructed from stainless steel perforated sheet. Additionally known as pot strainers, these strainers improve process efficiency and extend the lifespan of valves, protecting expensive pumps, meters and other equipment. They are suitable for use with water, air, gas, petroleum, steam and other fluids.
